One of our groups has given birth to their 3rd litter of the breeding season. Whilst they normally have 2 litters from Nov-April, in good years they're able to squeeze in a 3rd. Fingers crossed for a high number of survivors.

Unfortunately the study site is hit by a tropical cyclone passing through the area. We receive over 350 mm of rainfall within 24 hours and dams that were dry have burst their banks. This means that it'll be a few weeks before all areas are accessible again, and work currently involves some serious river wading! The good news is that our groups are much easier to locate, finding themselves trapped on islands until the water has receded.
